Likerk into space

Deze ochtend werd na een slopende marathonuitzending van 24 uur de winnaar bekend gemaakt van de Q-ruimtereis actie. Dimitry Mestiaen uit Liedekerke verzamelde 7426 foto’s van hulpastronauten. Zijn concurrent Werner van den Kieboom uit Rijkevorsel kon slechts 5606 foto’s nemen.

“Liedekerke leeft” stond er op de jetongs voor gratis drank :p Ik ga ’t nog moeten geloven ook haha

België

Ik zen het beu, pak gewoon den bijl en kap België in 2, heb hierjuist een reportage gezien waarin der een zegt “Sint-Genesius-Rode is Vlaams grondgebied maar meer dan 60% van de inwoners spreekt Frans” Even later volgt daarop “De Franstaligen kunnen nergens meer terecht, alles is in’t Nederlands”

WEL verdorie, leer Nederlands é zeg, wij als Vlamingen zijn in school verplicht om Nederlands, Frans, Engels EN Duits te leren, als wij naar Brussel gaan wordt verwacht da we ons in Frans kunnen behelpen, maar de Walen moeten enkel Frans en Nederlands OF Engels leren, ze mogen kiezen tussen de 2 en natuurlijk kiest iedereen voor Engels. Dit is al niet eerlijk! En de Vlamingen hebben al voorstellen genoeg gedaan met telkens een NON als repliek, maar als ze ’t zelf moeten oplossen staan ze der ook me hunne mond vol tanden.

Ik heb er genoeg van, voor mijn part kan het niet schelen of ik later nog in België woon of ik de Republiek Vlaanderen (of whatever), het spelleke duurt al lang genoeg, het laatste greintje trots dat ik had over het land is er bij mij ook uitgeperst!

Ik had in den Brooklyn 2 schoon boxers gezien van Diesel, een rode en een witte, dus ik die gisteren gaan halen…

Ik stond aan de kassa waar ik erachter moest vragen, ze hadden ze achter de kassa gelegd tot groot joleit van mezelf… ik vraag liever ni achter mijn ondergoed, ik pak da liever zelf.
De madam vroeg welke maat, en ik zei “Small” gelijk al mijn onderbroeken, ik heb het liever wa spannend… Die madam bekijk mij zo wa en vroeg “welke maat van broek heb jij?”, ik dacht bij mijn eigen uuuuuuhm what the hell “32” zei ik dan maar
Ach das wel ne Large é zei ze, i bekijk die me een scheef oog van da ze zot moe zijn… ik zei dan maar da ik het liever wa spannend heb, andere mensen begonnen mij al raar te bezien (joy)
kzal dan een medium pakken zegt ze, en kwou ni moeilijk doen dus zei ik maar da’t goe was

Nu pas ik ze juist, en jah ze zijn te groot é, ze staat gereed om om te wisselen in ne smal zi, verdorie, me wa moeide die madam haar grrr en ze wou mij nog ne large aansmeren jeezes

Mac vs Windows

They all told me “Mac is the best”, “Windows sucks”, “Never problems with a Mac”… Well i’ve had my MacBook Pro for 9 months now, and I’m not convinced, my next laptop is a Pc again. I’ve had nothin but problems with compatibility. First of all the version of Msn for Mac sucks BIGTIME, you can’t cam with it, though i have a built in cam, message history is stored, but you don’t see what you last wrote when you open a conversation with a person, files are transferred tooooooo slow, no buzzer, no link to spaces, pfff… there is an othere version for mac, called aMsn, that one is faster, yes, it has a buzzer, yes, you can cam, well yeah, sometimes, with some people it just doesnt work, they can accept but they see a white screen… so nothing improves there…

The second problem i have is that some of my programs i use for my profession aren’t compatible with Mac, like Autocad…

Third is that some video’s just don’t seem to play, i can’t even open some??? like .fla files i can’t play, and sometimes quicktime only plays the clip with no sound or sound with no clip… that’s amusing… grrrrrrrrrrr

4th, iPhoto sucks, i thought it would collect all my pictures so i can adjust them all, but no, it makes thumbnailes from all your pictures and when you adjust one picture it’s saved in another map, apart from the pictures from the same roll… So when you turn some pictures, but you go to the original map, all the pictures are the same, you have to search for the turned ones… And because i thought it had gathered all the original ones and not the thumbnails i have deleted a big section of pictures, with the result from some events i only have the thumbnails left…

AND 5th, apple would be faster, well i don’t measure time, but i’m quite sure that it’s the same, even though it’s a Core Duo 2, which promised to be faster…

Well maybe i got a bit too influenced… because apparantly everybody who told me “you should buy a Mac, you’ll be happy”… They all seem to work mainly on windows….

I made my conclusion, next one is a Windows laptop

ps: the Ipod is a heavenly product, nothing against that, just the computers from Apple are overrated…

Find the differences….

There’s a better picture on the way where i’ve scanned the pictures, these are quickly taken with Photo Booth… so quality isn’t good!

Remember

It’s been 6 years, but still seeing the video’s tears up my eyes. It doesn’t have anything to do with me personally, but seeing it happen, the terror, the destruction… When you don’t think about the loss and the terros around it, the destruction has something beautifull.
